The GenKey technology can bring value to organisations in different areas of the public and private sector:

Identification Papers: Traditional ID papers need an integrated smart chip or online access to a central database to be effective. This creates a series of problems:

• The systems become unnecessarily complex and expensive.
• Vulnerability of the system for network problems.
• Privacy problems because of the need to store and distribute biometric information.

GenKey ID management system eliminates all of these problems. The Public Key simply is printed on ID papers as a number string or bar code. The unique GenKey algorithm then matches the printed Public Key against the biometrics of the document holder, without any need for a central register or a smart chip. This secures privacy, eliminates interference, is independent of network access and costs a fragment of the traditional solutions.

Transport & Aviation: Using biometrics to make physical access to airplanes and other means of transportation more secure has many advantages. The main reason why it is not more widely used is the cost of these systems.

GenKey’s aviation product meets passenger and baggage identification regulations using fingerprints instead of traditional id and boarding cards.

With this solution the passengers register their fingerprints at bag drop and then verify their identity again at boarding.
Thus, the airline companies are able to guarantee that a person that has checked-in baggage also has boarded the plane.

GenKeyTM Biocryptic Airtravel Solution can tie into the airline’s passenger system. Since a GenKey is totally privacy insensitive and revocable – it can also be stored in the frequent flyer profile – making enrolment at check-in redundant. The Biocryptic ID can also be printed as a barcode on the boarding card - enabling verification also at the connection airport.

Utilizing Biocryptics will also enable space savings at airports by speeding up the passenger flow using multi-airline services.

The system has been approved by the privacy commissioner of Norway.

Personalized tickets for Concerts, Sports & Events: Events such as Musical concerts, conferences, exhibitions, trade shows, sport events and fun fairs often have repeat visitors. The arrangers may want to avoid that several different individuals get access on the same ticket.
The GenKey Biocryptic Identity Management System can print re-visiting tickets, linking the ticket biometrically to the ticket holder. This would make it impossible to enter an event using another person’s ticket. Personalized tickets increases security and eliminates black market sales.

Education: Authentication is a major issue in the education sector. Sending proxy's to take exams on one's behalf is a surprisingly common in many areas of the world.
GenKey have experience in issuing biocryptic exam documents, linking the exam candidate biometrically to the mark sheet, and ultimately to the diploma. This will eliminate the proxy problem all together.

Border Control: Traditional Border Control authentication papers like passports, visas or other ID papers need an integrated smart chip or online access to a central database to be effective. This creates a series of problems:

• The systems become unnecessarily complex and expensive.
• Interference problems between RFID chips in passports and visas.
• Vulnerability of the system for network problems.
• Privacy problems because of the need to move biometrics around in networks or on smart chips.

GenKey can expand any existing border control system in a way that eliminates all these problems. The Public Key simply is printed on the passports, visas or ID papers as a number string or bar code. The unique GenKey algorithm then matches the printed Public Key against the biometrics of the document holder, without any need for a central register or smart chip. This secures privacy, eliminates interference, is independent of network access and costs a fragment of the traditional solutions.
